Titus Claims is now a licensed Oregon public adjuster
Titus Claims is open for business. As of July 30, 2026, Samuel A. Watson holds an Oregon public adjuster license (No. 22301090) from the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation. You can verify it directly with the Division.
What a public adjuster license means
In Oregon, only a licensed public adjuster may be paid to represent a policyholder in a first-party property claim. The license requires passing a state exam, carrying a surety bond, and following Oregon's public adjuster rules. Those rules cover what goes in the contract, how fees are charged, and how client money is handled.
What we commit to in writing
- Loyalty: we represent your interest only.
- No referral fees: we take no money from contractors or anyone we recommend.
- Separate funds: your money is held in a trust account and never mixed with ours.
- Your consent: nothing is settled without your knowledge and approval.
Where we're headed
Titus is based in Portland and represents property owners across Oregon. A Washington license is in progress. If you're in a state where we aren't licensed yet, we'll point you to a licensed public adjuster there, and no money changes hands for that referral.
Got it. We'll call you today.
Until then: don't throw out damaged items, keep every letter from your insurer, and don't sign anything marked "final."
